Key Features
High performance. When designing the VM 200D / PD single drum rollers, JCB engineers took into account the basic requirements of customers for this class of equipment. The vehicles received an updated chassis, in which a central articulation with oscillation is provided, which made it possible to increase stability. The rollers are equipped with oversized fuel tanks, positioned in such a way as to provide an even load on the chassis.
Modern automation. The intelligent vibration control system prevents over-compaction of the soil. At the request of the customer, the rollers can be equipped with the Compactronic option, equipped with an acceleration sensor located on the drum. Thus, the operator has the ability to obtain detailed information about the frequency, intensity and magnitude of compaction. Once the optimum density has been reached, an indicator in the cabin comes on.
Comfortable cabin. The propel lever provides smooth, well-controlled movement of the machine, which reduces stress on the transmission and contributes to greater precision.
Simplicity and low cost of maintenance. All packer roller assemblies are designed for long-term use and are reliably protected from damage. The articulated joints used in machines do not require lubrication throughout their entire service life. All major units are available for inspection and maintenance.
